Custom Sandboxes

November 2011 was my last post?!
Well, I couldn't possibly recap the past 7 months so I will start fresh today.

In honor of Father's Day I thought I would dedicate this post to my dad.  I know my dad is handy, a painter by trade, and a licensed contractor, but I never knew he was so good at building things that I've been paying good money for.  Now that I have seen his work, I have a whole list of things for him to build me in his spare time, lol!  Lately he has been building sandboxes and I absolutely love them!

He made one for the grandkids to play in at their house and he made one for Zoe with a step stool and all.  Not only are they beautifully crafted and weatherproof, but they're awesome because they have a lid to keep out pets and critters.  They're also sturdy, have room for multiple kids, and and he made a latch that keeps the lid open.  Smart.  Also, on the one he made for his own house, he added a bracket & tube to attach their large sun umbrella.  Love it!

So my dad recently got the idea to sell these fabulous sand boxes.  I of course thought this was a brilliant idea, so for Father's Day I created flyers for him to post & pass out.  I picked them up today since we're celebrating Father's Day tomorrow (I know, a day early) and I'm thrilled with how they turned out!  Click on the picture if you need to and a larger version will open in a new window:)

Awesome, right?!  I printed 75 of them for his gift.  Now maybe he'll get to work on my "Daddy Please" list, he-he!  I LOVE YOU DAD!  HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
PS-If anyone would like to order one, he would be proud to customize it the way you'd like it.  Just give him a call!
