It's Official!

Little Miss Lexi turned 1!!!

 Happy Birthday Love Bug!

We love you so much.  You have filled our lives with more joy than we could ever imagine and we are so excited to watch you grow.  This past year has gone by so fast and we have truly enjoyed every minute.

  What a difference a year makes...

height: 2' 5.13"

weight:  18pounds 12.8ounces

clothing size: 12 months 

shoe size: 4

diaper size: size 3

new likes: anything that sings or makes music, touch & feel books, climbing up and down the stairs, cell phones, remote controls, and pushing her walker or chairs across the tile.

dislikes: being told "no"

eating: Now she eats everything we eat except in smaller pieces.

nap: one in the morning around 11am and one in the evening around 4:30pm.

sleeping: From 9pm-7:30/8am    

new tricks: She "talks" on the phone and walks from furniture to furniture but still crawls quite a bit too.  She loves walking holding on to someone's hand though and is super close to solely walking.

Where Did September Go???

With me back to work as of September 1st, life has become a lot busier!

Edson gets Lexi fed, dressed, and off to daycare and I pick her up after work and get her all ready for the next day.  She goes to Miriam Gray (Edson's friend's mom) Monday-Thursday and  Lorena (church reference) comes to our house on Fridays.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful 1:1 care for her.  These ladies are truly a God send.

Here's what we've been up to...

A little cuddling and A LOT of teething

(bottom right molar is all the way in and the bottom left one is starting to cut through)

  Miss Lexi turned 11 months

(and is now fitting into 12month clothes and size 4 shoes)

In true girly-girl fashion, she discovered phones and is truly obsessed with the idea of "talking" on them

She stood on her own for the 1st time on 9/17/11

The very next day she took 4 steps...

...and 3 weeks later, this is what she started doing :)

Boy are we going to be in trouble soon!!!!
