Lexi's 6month check up:
14.4 pounds!

Xia went with us and was such a good girl

She still LOVES looking at herself in the mirror

Daddy's little girl

Shots?  I don't like shots!

Band aids make it all better

All bundled up and ready to go home!
Here are her stats:

length: 26 1/4inches (75th %)
weight: 14 pounds 4 ounces (<25th%)
clothing size: 6 months
diaper size: size 3
new likes:eating, jumping, splashing in the water
dislikes: teething and having her face wiped
eating: she eats 1/4cup of rice cereal mixed with 3oz of breast milk or formula for breakfast followed by a little fruit, 3oz of baby food veggies with a little fruit for lunch, 3oz veggies for dinner, and breast feeds between meals.  Although lately, she hasn't been eating too many in-between meals because of her naps.
nap: a big one in the morning (2-3hrs) and 1-2 1hr ones in the afternoon & evening
sleeping: Through the night still!!!  ...from 9/9:30pm-7/7:30am (Except when she was growing & not getting enough to eat.  Those days she would eat & go right back to bed)
new tricks: rolls over with a purpose, sits up tall with no problem, sits in a highchair, can now sit in the stroller without the car seat, scoots on her back, starting to rock on her hands & knees, began laughing, grabs for toys and makes them work, claps, brings everything to her mouth, and enjoys all Mommy's home made baby foods

Grandpa Soria's birthday (April 23rd):

Easter Sunday (April 24th):
Lexi (almost 6.5months) started coming down with her first cold (from Kids Club I'm assuming) so I got to snap a few pictures before we had to change clothes.

Her newest trick is to lie her head down on things.  It just melts my heart, especially when she does it on me! :)

And...We're...Eating!!!

After 2 weeks of rice cereal 3X/day, it's time for veggies!

First was home made carrots...
My trainer, Snow, gave us this blender for our baby shower

...and it works like a charm!  I LOVE  it!

Carrots all measured out & ready to freeze

Success!  Unlike Daddy, she loved them!

Today it's on to home made peas...
All steamed & ready to blend

Thanks to the Ninja's 2sets of blades, it blended in no time!

2.5 oz all measured out

3 days worth of peas, done!

Yummy, peas!!!  See her teeth? :)
Success!  She loved every minute of it and even said "Ahhhhh" in-between bites, ha-ha!

She's a WINNER!!!

On Facebook today pediped had a photo contest.  They asked parents to post a picture of their kid wearing green and a pair of pediped shoes.  Well, it just so happens that Lexi has a St. Patty's Day outfit (of course she does, right?!) and her 1st pair of pediped shoes that I've been dying to have her fit into!  Perfect!

So this is what I submitted:

and she won 3rd place!  Woo-hoo!  Her prize?  A $25 Gift card, a pediped lunch box, and a pediped keychain!  Awesome!

She's always a winner in our eyes, but winning a prize is pretty cool too :)  Daddy will be very excited because this is just the beginning of our pediped shoe investment journey.

Hmmmm, now what should we get with the $25?
Look at all their ADORABLE shoes:

Seriously, how will I choose???  Well, if you're saying I won't, you're probably right.  I'll have to get a couple pairs ;)  Shhh, don't tell Edson!

Boy do I LOVE pediped!

PS-HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVERYONE!!!

5 MONTHS YOUNG

Lexi turned 5 months on Monday and has hit some major milestones all of a sudden!

She's finally tall enough to use her tip-toes to jump & play:
Here she is with cousin Zoe when we went to Las Vegas to visit (Zoe's in the middle of trying to figure out how to get that bow off of Lexi's head, lol)

She has been to church twice and both times sat through the entire thing without a peep:
Posing against a tree out front of church
She smiles all the time now and is quite the happy girl:

She eats rice cereal 3 times a day and loves it:
This was taken on her 3rd time of rice cereal and boy was she hungry!  Now, she's totally quiet as soon as she gets in her seat :)

But sometimes, eating makes her sleepy:

AND the latest & greatest...She rolls over!:

Next up, sitting!  It's a work in progress but she's starting to prefer sitting :)
5month pics:

The pockets on these pants are just too cute!  Thank you Grandma Lina!

Here are her stats:

length: 25 1/2inches
weight: 13 pounds (on our scale)
clothing size: 3 months
diaper size: size 2
new likes:eating from a spoon, putting her feet in her mouth, playing with her toys on the carpet, and doesn't mind being on her belly so much
dislikes: being hungry, teething, and having her face wiped after a meal
eating: she eats 1/4cup of rice cereal mixed with 3oz of breast milk or formula 3X/day (which pretty much sustains her for ~3.5hrs) and breastfeeds in between.
nap: a big one in the morning (2-3hrs) and 1-2 1hr ones in the afternoon & evening
sleeping: Through the night still!!!  ...from 9:30pm-7:30/8am (except for the 3days in a row when she was teething, but she ate & went back to sleep).
